Bought this for my little girl’s room. It’s the cutest and also detailed map for kids I’ve seen, and the printing is beautiful. But I really wish it didn’t come folded. It ruins the entire aesthetic impression. Such a shame, the folded lines are extremely clear and in some folds the paper gets cracked so the color breaks up.

Our 4 year old son is obsessed with maps and countries, so we decided to get this as a poster for his birthday and then re-use it in his room. Unfortunately the map is folded in such a way that the creases are too deep and strong and permanent–which doesn’t help in laying it flat against wall. It is otherwise a lovely map that is perfect to hold children’s interest.

This map was just perfect for our needs. Our 5 year old granddaughter lives in South Korea and I originally sent her a map of the United States, however she kept asking where she was located on the map. She enjoys learning about “our land” versus “her land.” So to show her the locations where our family lives my husband and I purchased this map and we identified the locations for her. My husband circled South Korea and labeled it with her name, he then circled our location in the United States and he circled the Netherlands to identify where some of her cousins live and now she can view where we all live. She really enjoyed seeing the information. She put the map on her wall in her bedroom and now when we travel we share with her where we are so she can find it on her map. It’s fun and she loves learning about the geography at her age level.

This a beautifully illustrated map for kids. My only grief is that I wish this map was sold in a roll instead of folded – the creases and lines really take away from how nice of a map this is. I would have liked to framed it but all the folds really makes it look cheap and beat up.

A couple of things. I thought this map looked exceptional. This map turned out to be incredibly exceptional. The only thing is…it’s folded & those reviews about trying to get the creases out are no joke. I kept it but reordered a rolled version for 4.00 more thru the map maker and that’s what I will use for my project and then got it laminated.. This map is just Beautiful & PERFECT for children!! I & others I show completely fall in love with this map…the animals. Extraordinary.
